About me

Well, I’m 23 years old, I live in Whitstable in the UK. I still live with my parents (oh dear!) but am getting married this year (sept 2013), and currently in the process of buying flats/sorting wedding/learning to be a REAL grown up.

I work in a Dementia home which is run with a Christian focus and although I am an office worker it is a real privilege to get to know these precious people.

My life has not always been easy, I have battled with depression, lived with a suicidal parent, abuse and hopelessness. However it was in that time that I eventually found out how real Jesus is.

He is rescuing me, has died for me, is making me whole.

I live my whole life for Him, because it is only through Him I know my life’s worth living.

  1. I can’t believe I’m just now finding you. I love the title of your site! That, alone, would draw me here. Congrats on upcoming wedding. My wife and I have been married 36 years, and I would be so broken without her. We have become such a part of each other. I’m short on time, but I will be back soon to explore your site. Thanks for stopping in, so I could find you as well.

    • Thank you for the encouragement! I’m glad I found your blog as well, will look forward to future posts. Thank you for the congrats, it’s really great to hear from someone with such a strong marriage πŸ™‚

  2. Good morning!! Thanks for following my blog! I love that fellow Christians across the world can encourage and support one another via the blogosphere. Praise God that He used your past to help you and not haunt you. Be blessed!

    • Thanks for coming and having a look here, I couldn’t agree with you more about how it is Christians can support each other through blogs, I’m already so blessed by peoples comments and posts. Looking forward to reading more from you at your blog πŸ™‚

  3. What powerful words of wisdom God has given you! Don’t ever doubt the power of the Love that God has for you! Your future husband is a blessed man!
Thank you so much for stopping by my site! So glad you found me!

  4. Many of my friends who know me and what I’ve been through tell me “Mike, you’ve been through hell and half of Georgia.” My response is normally, “Yep, and one of these days I’d like to see more of Georgia than the welcome to Georgia sign.” Gives you some idea of my life. I can relate to your life. But I can tell you this, God has never failed me. In my darkest hours God delivered me, protected me and kept me. He has never forsaken me. I could never ask for a greater friend than Jesus. I think we share that same friend.

Never let the world get you down, for the world is carnal and ruled by the powers of darkness. Satan will never attack one of his own. But he will one of God’s children. So, when you come under fire just remember it’s happening because you are a child of God. Always remember we are sealed and God has already told us the “Victory is ours.”

before I go; congrats on your upcoming marriage. Put God at the forefront of your marriage and He will surely bless it.

May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless and keep you, and yours, forever.

      • You are most welcome, Bloom. I believe we, as part of our ministry, to take our life-experiences and share them with others. It is a very important part of our testimony to believers and non-believers alike.
Thank you for your comments and acknowledgement of my experiences with life – and God’s awesome ability to bring us through our darkest hours.

        Ditto’s on the blessings. (smiling).

My wife and I have been married just since March 10th! All I can say is, enjoy every bit of the special day, and praise Him in every moment. I’m sure it will be an amazing day for both of you! God bless you and your fiance!
